The Concurrency Processing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of batches within the visit list and charge log. This role involves reviewing, posting, and cleaning up batches while maintaining compliance with month-end schedules and organizational standards. The position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Check completed batches in the visit list for accuracy.
Review the charge log for all processed batches, including deleted, posted, and pending batches.
Post batches promptly, ensuring adherence to month-end timelines.
Verify that no suspense providers or zero-fee amounts are posted by running concurrency report journals and cube data.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies by preventing posting of suspense and zero-fee batches.
Maintain accurate records of all batch activities.
Delete empty batches from the visit list after confirming no patient records are linked in the imaging station.
Perform routine cleanup to maintain system efficiency and data accuracy.
Run concurrency reports and analyze data to identify discrepancies.
Communicate issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
