Job Summary: 

 

  • The Enterprise Project Manager at Ventra Health is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that impact revenue performance, client experience, and operational scalability. This role manages complex enterprise programs including major client onboardings, multi-service-line expansions, platform and workflow transformations, and internal operating model initiatives. 
  • The Enterprise Project Manager owns delivery outcomes from initiation through stabilization and transition to steady-state operations. This role partners closely with senior and executive leadership, Client Onboarding, Client Success, Technology, RCM Enterprise Service Delivery, Product, and external client stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. 
  • This role leads concurrent enterprise initiatives spanning multiple teams and timelines and requires strong project management discipline, deep healthcare or revenue cycle understanding, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. 

Essential Functions and Tasks

    • Serve as the primary point of accountability for enterprise-level initiatives. 
    • Own end-to-end project delivery including scope definition, planning, execution, risk management, and transition to operations. 
    • Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives involving internal teams and external client stakeholders. 
    • Establish and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria. 
    • Facilitate executive, client, and cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and decision-making. 
    • Proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks and drive mitigation plans. 
    • Escalate issues appropriately with clear recommendations and options. 
    • Coordinate across Client Onboarding, Client Success, TechnologyRCM Enterprise Service Delivery, Enrollment, and Finance teams. 
    • Ensure accurate data collection, validation, and system setup for enterprise initiatives. 
    • Maintain clear and consistent status reporting for leadership and stakeholders. 
    • Ensure strong governance, documentation, and delivery artifacts are maintained. 
    • Partner with executive sponsors to define expected benefits, success metrics, and value targets for enterprise initiatives 
    • Track benefit realization against defined schedules, including cost savings, productivity gains, revenue impact, quality improvements, and service delivery outcomes 
    • Monitor post-implementation performance to confirm initiatives deliver intended value 
    • Surface gaps between expected and actual benefits and drive corrective actions where needed. 
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to scalable enterprise delivery models. 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Eight (8) or more years of project or program management experience.
  • Experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with executive visibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and a variety of insurance plans. 
  • Strong knowledge in accounting, finance, and/or bookkeeping, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in QuickBooks Desktop, word processing, spreadsheets, and database software. 
  • Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages. 
  • In-depth understanding of accounting and billing principles, along with the ability to read, interpret, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and tactfully with diverse personalities. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills with initiative to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions. 
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively under general supervision while delivering high-quality service excellence. 

Compensation

  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. 
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
