Job Summary

  • The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst will provide strategic oversight of the Quality Assurance function across the EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospitalist Management) organization. This individual will be responsible for establishing and advancing the QA strategy, mentoring a team of QA professionals, and driving the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive testing processes for both existing and emerging products. This role will ensure that all software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability, supporting business goals through robust quality governance and innovation in manual and automated testing environments.
  • The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, support, and operations teams to enforce quality practices, mitigate risk, and continuously improve software delivery processes. This role requires a proven lead who can inspire excellence in others, manage change, and align QA practices with evolving business and technology goals.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Proved mentoring and guidance to the quality assurance team.
  • Perform hands on test execution (both manual and automated) for healthcare EDI, ETL Processing, and application functionality.
  • Creates detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Participate closely with triage support teams to ensure that production system defects are documented, and an appropriate testing plan is established.
  • Drive quality and assist in the implementation of company automated test frameworks and solutions within assigned agile team.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Math, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer, or 2 years’ experience as a lead quality assurance engineer.
  • Experience with testing cloud-native systems.
  • QA related certifications are highly desirable (CSTE, CSQA, CAST).
  • Familiarity with healthcare EDI data formats (i.e., HL7).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of QA best practices, software development lifecycles, and testing methodologies.
  • Proven expertise with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, HP ALM, Azure DevOps), automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman), and performance/load testing tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and database testing, including the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex data sets.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Compensation

  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. 
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
