Job Summary

  • The shift will be 3 PM – 12 AM IST.
  • The Business Analyst, Implementations will work closely with both client IT teams and internal technical teams to acquire, configure, and integrate healthcare data for revenue cycle management projects. This role involves data mapping, building data parsers, and ensuring internal systems are customized to meet client requirements. The ideal candidate will bridge functional and technical needs, ensuring seamless data flow and successful project delivery.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Collaborate with client IT teams to acquire healthcare data feeds (e.g., patient demographics, medical records, case logs, etc.) for revenue cycle management, and gather data/system configuration requirements to pass on to internal IT teams.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping specifications, ensuring proper data transformation and structure for integration into internal systems.
  • Provide internal IT teams with clear specifications for system configuration, data parsers, and custom workflows to meet client requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure data parsers are built, optimized, and tested to maintain data integrity and compatibility with internal systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee testing of data integration and system configurations, ensuring all requirements are met and discrepancies resolved.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between client IT teams, internal implementation teams, and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Document system configurations, data mappings, and workflows for future reference and alignment between client and internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in collaboration with internal IT teams, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize system configurations, data parsers, and integration workflows for efficiency and faster delivery.
  • Stay updated on healthcare IT trends and technologies, applying best practices to improve system integrations and process efficiency.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data integration, or technical roles within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience with system configuration, data mapping, building data parsers, and working with internal IT teams to customize systems.
  • Strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management systems and data integration tools.
  • Experience in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for healthcare projects is highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle management processes, including patient registration, coding, billing, collections, and claims management.
  • Experience with system configuration, data mapping, and working with or building data parsers for integration of complex data feeds.
  • Proven ability to work closely with client IT teams to gather and translate functional and technical requirements for successful project execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in creating clear, detailed documentation such as data mappings, system configurations, and technical workflows to support implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Ability to stay current with healthcare IT trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data integration and revenue cycle management.
  • High attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accurate system configurations that align with client-specific requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including internal IT, operations, and client-facing roles, to drive project success.
