Job Summary

  • The Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance - Revenue Cycle Management will support the Quality Manager in overseeing the quality assurance processes within the revenue cycle management department. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all processes are compliant with regulatory standards and optimized for efficiency and accuracy. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with various teams to identify areas for improvement, implement quality control measures, and provide training to enhance overall performance.

Essential Functions and Tasks

Quality Assurance Oversight:

  • Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within revenue cycle management.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Track and report on the progress of process improvement projects.

Team Collaboration and Training:

  • Collaborate with department heads and team members to promote a culture of quality.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices and process improvements.
  • Support the Quality Manager in conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and process improvement outcomes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all processes comply with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry best practices.
  • Assist in preparing for and responding to audits and inspections.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance, within revenue cycle management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader in Quality assurance.
  • Should have worked on end-to-end process.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Office environment with occasional travel for training and audits.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
