Job Summary

  • Ventra Health, a leading business solutions provider for facility-based physicians, is seeking a dedicated Senior .NET Core Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team, where we are transforming the Healthcare Revenue Cycle landscape through cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking solutions. We are looking for a talented Senior .NET Core Developer with a passion for building scalable microservices and leveraging the power of Azure to help drive our mission forward.
  • As a Senior .NET Core Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance microservices that power our Automation and AI platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our applications, all while embracing modern development practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure DevOps.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using .NET Core and Azure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and manage cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Optimize and monitor application performance, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in software development.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess business processes.
  • Experience with Agile scrum methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of automation solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, adhering to timelines and priorities.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in .NET Core and C# with a strong focus on building microservices.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with X12 Libraries for transforming EDI messages.
  • Experience with API performance monitoring, testing, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to design and implement secure, scalable APIs.
  • Strong advocate for clean code, code reviews, and continuous integration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience specifically with .NET Core and building microservices.
