Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a high-level knowledge of C# and SQL to provide development and design expertise as well as technical support, troubleshooting assistance and development for our production systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving issues in our production environments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Monitor production systems and applications to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to C# and SQL Server-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements.
  • Provide technical support to end-users to resolve production-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to production systems and processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of direct application development experience in C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure related to development, including support and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of HL7 and other Healthcare related data structures, Revenue Cycle Management is a plus.

Must Haves

  • Proficient in software development and testing life cycles.
  • Intermediate knowledge and hands on experience with C# and SQL Server.
  • Experience with .NET framework code from CORE 3.0 and above
  • Strong experience with querying complex SQL database tables
  • Strong experience with writing complex SQL stored procedures
  • Strong experience with modern API development using C#
  • Strong experience with problem solving and monitoring production solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify opportunities that drive execution of action plans to close gaps and move key priorities forward.
  • Ability to influence and gain support from stakeholders through effective communication and relationship building.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to technical and nontechnical personnel at various levels in and across the organization.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to remain results oriented and work within a collaborative and dynamic high paced environment.

Nice Haves

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Blazor technology
  • Experience with Azure pipelines and Azure hosted solutions
  • Experience with HL7 data standards
