IDX Bar Analyst

Job Summary:

• This position requires knowledge and experience in IDX, for modules BAR, TES and the Payer Contract Module.   Candidate must work well with others and have communication skills to interact with other departments to determine requirements for system setup and changes.   Candidate should have overall experience of the Athena IDX applications DBMS, Cache SQL, Dictionaries, BAR, TES and HL7 Interfaces
• Under direct supervision, applies systems analysis and design techniques to complex computer systems with multiple users, to produce innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems. Gathers information from users, defines work problems, and plan projects to enable analysts and programmers to develop required results

Essential Functions and Tasks:

• Guides users in formulating requirements; advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised computer systems/applications technology
• Analyzes user project proposals, identifies omissions, and errors in requirements, and recommends optimal solutions and develops system design for approved projects
• Coordinate testing scenarios for system changes and enhancements and work with teams to move changes to production
• May serve as lead analyst in a design subgroup, directing and integrating the work of analysts, each responsible for several areas or systems
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General technical and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to develop and deliver presentations on solutions
• Ability to interpret and evaluate client and Ventra Health teams needs and to determine appropriate solutions or present alternative solutions
• Ability to develop and/or modify and adapt systems, application configurations, and programs to meet individually specified needs
• Ability to analyze and interpret information systems proposals, and to evaluate and develop alternative implementation plans
• Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions
• Ability to plan, design, coordinate installation, test, and modify complex systems and subsystems
• Document and track all work in CB-DEVOPS ticketing system
